ART

Art from Okinawa and around the world

A collection of decorative and fine art is displayed around the hotel, including Ryukyu glass by master craftsman Seikichi Inamine, whose colours, changing according to the light, recall the ocean at Ginoza; flower vases by Shiro Tsujimura; calligraphy by Yuuna Okanishi; lithographs by Toulouse Lautrec and Matisse; photographs by Jacques-Henri Lartigue; and furniture by George Nakashima.

INFINITY POOL

Moon, stars and sunrise: enjoy the show at the poolside

The Infinity Pool occupies a central location within the resort, and is the perfect spot to view the ocean, the moon and stars at night, or the sunrise. It’s worth getting up around half an hour before dawn, to watch as the colour of the eastern sky gradually changes.

* Food and beverages from the Café can be served at the poolside dining tables.

GINOZA BEACH

A nature walk by the by sea

The beach next to the hotel is home to hermit crabs and is sometimes visited by sea turtles. At full moon, the glittering “moon road” across the waves is a magical sight – you may even want to book your stay around those dates.

Open | 6.00am to 10.00pm (The beach has no artificial lighting)

* Please note that the beach is not private to the hotel. For this reason, there is no marked-out swimming area, and no beach amenities such as parasols are provided.
* As the sand is coarse, we recommend wearing the beach sandals provided in your guest room.
