A décor that reflects the tranquil and sacred location
Enjoy the silence
The hotel is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, rich in history and tradition, close to the great Shinto shrine of Ise Jingu, and its design concept reflects its sacred and tranquil location. The Lounge features series of pillars that evoke the arcades often seen in European architecture. The simple wall and floor surfaces, occasionally lit by the sun falling softly through the surrounding trees or reflections from the sea, create a beautiful soundless music.
Japanese paintings and contemporary art
The Lounge, where guests check in, dining room and guest rooms are decorated with Japanese paintings by Kaii Higashiyama and modern works by artists such as Matisse and Yayoi Kusuma, each bringing their own special touch to the simple, modern décor.
