CAN I LEAVE MY LUGGAGE AT THE HOTEL BEFORE CHECK-IN?

We can store your luggage before check-in.
You also have a "Hakone Carry Service" to drop off your luggage at Hakone Yumoto Station.
Please feel free to take advantage of this service.

CAN I SEND MY LUGGAGE IN ADVANCE?

Yes, we can store your luggage for up to 3 days prior to your stay. 
When sending luggage in advance, please clearly indicate your reservation name and check-in date on the shipping label,and send it to the following address.

IS THERE A SHUTTLE SERVICE?

Unfortunately, we do not provide a shuttle service. However, we can assist you in booking a taxi.
If you wish to use this service, please let us know by the day before your stay.

CAN I PAY IN ADVANCE?

Please choose the prepayment option when making your reservation online.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE CAN I MAKE A RESERVATION?

Even if the dates are not yet shown on The Hiramatsu Hotels & Resorts Sengokuhara website, we accept reservations up to one year in advance.
Please note that for dates not yet shown on the website, rates are not confirmed.

ARE EARLY CHECK-IN AND LATE CHECK-OUT AVAILABLE?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept requests for early check-in or late check-out.
It is possible to wait in the lounge of the hotel.
If you plan to arrive before check-in time (3.00pm), we would appreciate it if you could let us know in advance.

WE WILL BE STAYING FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION, SUCH AS AN ANNIVERSARY. CAN YOU ARRANGE FOR FLOWERS OR CAKES?

For special occasions such as birthdays or anniversaries,
we are delighted to offer cakes and flower services.
Please request these services at least 3 days in advance.
Cake: from ¥3,500(at least 3 days in advance)
Bouquet: from¥5,500 (at least 5 days in advance)
Please feel free to contact us regarding the details of the cake or bouquet, and timing of delivery.
Please let us know in advance if you would like to send a bouquet that you will provide yourself.

CAN I SPECIFY DETAILS SUCH AS ROOM FLOOR, LOCATION, AND NUMBER?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept requests for specific rooms.
Some rooms have steps. Please let us know if you would like a barrier-free room.

DO YOU HAVE CONNECTING ROOMS?

A total of 3 rooms (2 Superior Twin rooms on the 3rd floor and an Executive Suite on the 3rd floor) are available for use as connecting rooms in the Main Building.
A total of 3 rooms can be used as connecting rooms. (For up to 7 guests in total, including 1 extra bed).
Junior Suites in the Annex can sleep up to 4 guests.

COULD YOU PROVIDE INFORMATION ON RATES FOR CHILDREN?

Children over 12 years old are charged the same rate as adults.
Children co-sleeping with parents: ¥2,000 per child.
If you wish us to provide meals for your children, please let us know at least one day prior to your stay.
If making a reservation online, please enter the age and number of any children in the Remarks column.

DO YOU HAVE AMENITIES AND LOAN ITEMS FOR CHILDREN?

To ensure a comfortable stay for families, we can provide amenities and loan items for children.
Children’s toothbrushes, slippers, loungewear, and shampoo and body soap are provided.
We can also provide a bed guard or change twin beds to a wide king size bed by attaching the beds together.
Baby cots are available. The number of cots is limited: please contact us at least one day prior to your stay to request this service.

IS THERE A LAUNDRY SERVICE?

One washing machine with dryer is available in the Annex (self-service laundry).
Reservations are not accepted, and availability depends on usage on the day.

ARE THE BATHS IN GUEST ROOMS HOT SPRING BATHS?

Yes. All rooms have a hot spring bath fed continuously with water from Shin-Ubako Onsen.
Main Building: the large windows allow you to enjoy bathing with a view of Hakone’s beautiful natural surroundings.
Annex: bathrooms in a separate space allow you to relax in comfort.

DO YOU HAVE ROOMS WITH A DOUBLE BED OR KING-SIZE BED?

All rooms have twin beds. A wide king-size bed can be created by attaching two the twin beds together. Please ask us in advance for availability.

ARE RENTAL CARS AVAILABLE WITH AN INTERNATIONAL DRIVER’S LICENSE?

Unfortunately, we do not have cars to rent.

CAN I REQUEST ORDER A TAXI FROM THE HOTEL?

Yes, we can arrange that a taxi for you. We can also arrange taxis for sightseeing. Please request this service as early as possible.
Please note that, during busy periods, we may not be able to accommodate your request.

CAN I GET A FREE ROOM UPGRADE?

Unfortunately, we do not offer free room upgrades.

CAN YOU PROVIDE A SPARE KEY FOR MY ROOM?

We will issue a key for each guest in your room.

HOW MANY DINING OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?

We have one dining room offering full-course Italian meals.

CAN BREAKFAST BE CHANGED TO A MORNING BASKET?

Unfortunately, we cannot change breakfast reservations to a morning basket.

CAN WE EAT IN OUR ROOMS?

All full meals will be served in the dining room.

DO YOU HAVE A PRIVATE DINING ROOM?

We have one private room, but the number of rooms is limited,
We do not accept reservations.

IS THE RESTAURANT OPEN FOR LUNCH?

Unfortunately, lunch service is not available.

IS ROOM SERVICE AVAILABLE?

Room service is available from 12.00pm to 2.00pm and from 5.30pm to 8.00pm.
Please note that it may take some time for food and beverages to be served, depending on the time.

DOES THE HOTEL HAVE A DRESS CODE?

There is no specific dress code. However, please refrain from wearing the Loungewear and slippers provided in your room around the hotel.

DOES THE DINING ROOM HAVE AN AGE RESTRICTION?

There is no age restriction, and guests with children are welcome.

CAN WHEELCHAIRS AND PUSHCHAIRS BE USED IN THE DINING ROOM?

Wheelchairs and pushchairs are welcome. Please note that some areas have steps, and feel free to ask our staff for assistance.

CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE FOOD ALLERGIES?

If you have allergy concerns, please inform us by the day before your visit. We will prepare a special menu to ensure you can enjoy your meal.

CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE VEGAN DIETS?

While we do not have a dedicated menu, we can accommodate vegan preferences. If you have specific dietary restrictions, please inform us by 7 days before your visit, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

CAN I REQUEST SMALLER PORTIONS FOR MY MEALS?

We can adjust portion size to suit your preference. Please let us know your requirements in advance.

CAN I BRING MY OWN WINE?

You are welcome to bring your own wine. However, there is a corkage fee of ¥6,600 (tax included) per bottle. *There is no corkage fee for consuming your own wine in your guest room.

I AM NOT STAYING AT THE HOTEL. CAN I MAKE A RESERVATIONS FOR MEALS ONLY?

We accept reservations from non-hotel guests for dinner only.

We currently do not offer an à la carte menu.

CAN WE TAKE MEALS TOGETHER EVEN IF WE HAVE SEPARATE ROOMS?

Yes. You can take meals together.

CAN NON-HOTEL GUESTS USE THE HOT SPRING BATHS?

Unfortunately, our hot spring baths (including private open-air baths) are not open to non-hotel guests.

CAN CHILDREN USE THE PRIVATE OPEN-AIR BATHS?

Children who are toilet-trained are allowed to use the private open-air baths.
We kindly ask that they are accompanied by an adult at all times.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO RESERVE A PRIVATE OPEN-AIR BATH IN ADVANCE?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept open-air bath reservations in advance.
We will ask you when you check in on the day of your stay. One reservation slot is available per room, per stay.

DO YOU HAVE AN EXCLUSIVE SPA ROOM?

Yes, the hotel has a spa room.

ARE COUPLE’S TREATMENTS AVAILABLE?

Yes, couple’s treatments are available.

CAN I MAKE SAME-DAY SPA RESERVATIONS?

If available, we can schedule spa appointments on the same day. As our therapists come from outside the hotel, so we recommend booking in advance.

DO YOU HAVE BARRIER-FREE ROOMS?

There are several steps between the Main Building and Annex.
Additionally, there are several steps at the entrance of rooms 1201 & 1202 in the Annex.
Annex guest rooms have a step into the bathroom.

DOES THE HOTEL HAVE A BATHROOM WITH A STOMA-FRIENDLY TOILET?

Yes, the hotel has a bathroom with a stoma-friendly toilet.

ARE WHEELCHAIRS AVAILABLE ON LOAN?

Yes, wheelchairs are available. As availability is limited, please make your request well in advance.

DO YOU HAVE ELEVATORS?

There are elevators in both the Main Building and the Annex.

IS THERE A SMOKING AREA?

All guest rooms (including the terraces and gardens) are non-smoking.
Please use the smoking areas on the 2nd floor of the Main Building and the 2nd floor of the Annex.

CAN I PARK MY CAR AT THE HOTEL?

Outdoor flat parking is available, free of charge. We do not provide a valet service.

CAN I CHARGE MY ELECTRIC CAR?

Charging space is available for 2 cars.
Please bring your own cable for Tesla cars.

DO YOU HAVE A DAYCARE CENTRE?

Unfortunately, we do not have a daycare centre.

IS THERE A SHOP?

Yes, we sell a selection of original Hiramatsu sweets amenities (Bvlgari), Alain Milliat jams and juices, pyjamas and loungewear. Please feel free to stop by our display area.

DOES THE HOTEL HAVE A GYM?

Hours: 8.00am to 8.00pm
The Training Room is equipped with treadmills and exercise bikes, and guests are free to use it at their convenience.
*Unfortunately, we cannot provide rental shoes or sports attire.

CAN I GET MEDICATION FOR A SUDDEN ILLNESS?

In accordance with Article 24 of the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law, we do not provide medicines.
Please prepare any medication you may need in advance of your visit, or ask at the front desk for information on hospitals and pharmacies near the hotel. (Please note that these may not be open at all times, depending on the time of day or day of the week.)
Please inform our staff if you experience any symptoms such as fever or vomiting during your stay.

CAN I EARN HIRAMATSU MEMBER POINTS?

Only guests who make reservations by telephone or through our official website are eligible for Hiramatsu Member benefits.
(Please note that points will not be awarded and cannot be used for any expenses other than room charges (such as food and beverages) when reservations are made through reservation sites or travel agencies).
