CHECK-IN TIME: 3.00pm to 12.00 midnight (Dinner Plan check-in until 8.00pm) CHECK-OUT TIME: 11.00am *Please note that specific check-in and check-out times may vary based on your selected accommodation plan. Refer to the details of your chosen plan for confirmation.
If you arrive before the check-in time (before 3.00pm), you are welcome to wait in the lobby lounge, library café, or the main building's 5th-floor dining area.

CAN I LEAVE MY LUGGEGE OR SEND TO THE HOTEL BEFORE CHECK IN?

When sending your luggage, please clearly indicate your reservation name and check-in date on the shipping label, and send it to the address below. Please note that you should bring by yourself valuables, fragile items, or items requiring temperature and humidity control check in day.

CAN I LEAVE MY LUGGAGE AFTER CHECK-OUT?

Luggage can be kept after check-out for the same day only, so please ask our staff. (Please keep valuables, fragile items, and items that require temperature/humidity control with you.)

IS THERE A SHUTTLE SERVICE?

We offer free shuttle service from Miyota Station. Please inform us of your arrival time at Miyota Station in advance by phone or email if you would like to use this service. CAN YOU ARRANGE DELIVERY FOR LUGGAGE OR SOUVENIRS?

We also handle delivery arrangements. We provide packaging materials such as cardboard boxes, so please let us know if you would like to use them.

CAN I MAKE PAYMENT IN ADVANCE?

Please choose prepayment when making a reservation on the website.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE CAN I MAKE A RESERVATION FOR ACCOMMODATION?

We accept reservations for approximately up to 6 months in advance. Please check our website for details.

CAN I BE PLACED ON A WAITING LIST?

We do not accept waiting lists.

WE WILL BE STAYING FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION, SUCH AS AN ANNIVERSARY. CAN WE ARRANGE FOR FLOWERS OR CAKES?

We offer a variety of options for birthday and other anniversaries, including cake, bouquets, champagne, and commemorative photo shoots. Please make your request at least 3 days prior to your stay.

Bouquet: 5,000 yen and up

WHAT IS THE VIEW FROM THE ROOM?

The views vary by floor, and you can enjoy the changing scenery with each season. In the 'Forest View,' you'll feel like you are in the midst of the woods, with trees in close proximity. The 'Sky View' offers a vast landscape, showcasing the expansive views of Miyota and Sakudaira on clear days. Please choose your preferred room type.

CAN I MAKE DETAILED SPECIFICATIONS SUCH AS THE ROOM FLOOR, LOCATION, OR ROOM NUMBER?

We can accept your requests. Please note that we may not be able to meet your request depending on the situation on the day of the event.

DO YOU HAVE CONNECTING ROOMS?

We do not have connecting rooms, but we can accommodate requests for rooms close to each other for your party. Please note that depending on the room type and availability on the day, we may not be able to meet your preferences.

CAN I ACCOMMODATE 5 OR MORE PEOPLE IN ONE ROOM?

The maximum capacity for a room is 4 individuals (2-bedroom villa suite, Hiramatsu Suite) . Therefore, for a stay with 5 individuals, we kindly ask you to make reservations for 2 rooms. (For preschool children who do not require extra bedding, we can accommodate them with you, so please consult with us.)

Children of elementary school age and above: Same charge as adults.

If bedding is required: Bedding and child's meal will be charged. If bedding is not required, only the cost of the child's meal will be charged. If bedding and meals are not required: Free of charge. For more details, refer to our children's meals in the Dining section.

WHAT IS IN THE REFRIGERATOR?

Mineral water, local juices and alcoholic beverages are available. (Some items are subject to charge).

IS THERE A LAUNDRY SERVICE?

Paid service: If you drop off your laundry at the front desk by 10.00am, we can return them after 6.00pm on the same day.
Free of charge: Self-service laundry (washing machine, dryer, detergent) is available on the 1st and 3rd floors of the main building.
Please ask at the front desk if you wish to use the laundry in the main building.
All villas have self-service laundry facilities.

CAN I CONNECT TO THE INTERNET IN THE ROOM?

Guests can use Wi-Fi for free.

HOW MANY DINING OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?

On the first floor, Le Grand Lys offers French cuisine featuring abundant use of local ingredients, available in course menus.
On the 5th floor, you'll find "La Lumière Claire," serving Italian cuisine. While savoring Italian dishes, you can take in the scenic views of Miyota from the top floor, with options for both course meals and à la carte selections.

CAN I CHANGE BREAKFAST TO A MORNING BASKET?

Certainly, we accept your request. Please be aware that the number of baskets is limited, so if you would like to make this change, please notify us as soon as possible.


For guests with breakfast-inclusive plans: No additional charge.
For guests without meals: The additional fee is 6,325 yen per person.

DO YOU HAVE PRIVATE DINING ROOMS?

Private dining rooms are available at Le Grand Lys, French Cuisine on the 1st floor of the main building.
We do not accept reservations due to the limited number of private dining rooms. We will take it as a request.

IS THERE A PLACE WITHIN THE FACILITY WHERE I CAN HAVE LUNCH?

Italian lunch menu is available at "La Lumiere Claire" on the 5th floor. (For hotel guests only)

The "Forest Dining Plan" is available exclusively for villas, allowing you to enjoy a course meal in the garden or on the terrace.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Smart casual.
Please note that the loungewear and slippers provided in the guest rooms should not be worn when using the restaurants. Please refrain from wearing shorts, flip-flops, etc.

IS THERE AN AGE RESTRICTION FOR DINING?

French cuisine at Le Grand Lys on the 1st floor: Dining is limited to children 10 years and older.

  • Diners with accompanying children under 10 years old are invited to enjoy Le Grand Lys’s cuisine in the 5th-floor dining room.
    Italian cuisine at "La Lumiere Claire" on the 5th floor: No age limit.

CAN WHEELCHAIRS AND STROLLERS BE USED IN THE DINING AREA?

Wheelchairs and baby strollers are welcome in the restaurant. If assistance is needed, please feel free to approach our staff.

Do you accommodate for allergies?

We will do our best to accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions so that everyone can enjoy their meals.
Please let us know at least two days prior to your stay.

CAN I REQUEST SMALLER PORTIONS FOR MY MEALS?

We can adjust the portions to suit your preference. Please inform us in advance, and while we will accommodate your request, please note that certain dishes may be served in their standard sizes.

CAN I BRING OWN WINE?

You are welcome to bring your own win, however, there is a corkage fee of 6,600 yen (tax included) per bottle. *There is no corkage fee for bringing your own wine to your room.

CAN I MAKE A RESERVATION FOR MEALS ONLY?

Due to the limited number of seats in the restaurants, both French and Italian cuisine are only available to guests staying at the hotel.

IS THERE A SPA ROOM?

Our wellness programme offers Myofascial Release Cutter therapy to relieve deep tensions, hydrogen inhalation therapy, and a range of manual treatments with Waphyto oils, to refresh the body inside and out. The wellness salon opens from 10.00am to 6.00pm, closed every Wednesday, and requires reservations. For more information, please visit Wellness Programme page.

IS IT POSSIBLE FOR TWO PEOPLE TO RECEIVE TREATMENTS SIMULTANEOUSLY?

Pair plans are available depending on the menu. Reservations required at least 3 days in advance.

CAN I MAKE A SAME-DAY RESERVATION?

If there is availability, we can accommodate you on the same day as well. Please feel free to inform our staff, and they will assist you.

The main building is wheelchair accessible. However, please note that some villa rooms have a few steps.

A multi-purpose restroom is available on the second floor of the main building.

DO YOU HAVE WHEELCHAIRS AVAILABLE FOR RENT?

Yes. please note that the quantity is limited. if you wish to rental , please contact us in advance. 

IS THERE AN ELEVATOR?

Guests are required to use the elevator to reach the guest room floors.

All guest rooms (including the terrace and deck) are non-smoking.
Please use the smoking area on the 2nd floor of the main building.

IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE?

Flat outdoor parking is available on the hotel grounds. Reservations are not required.

Can electric vehicles be charged within the hotel facilities?

Charging space for two vehicles is available. Cables and adapters to connect to vehicles are not provided.

No restaurant is available, but you can enjoy room service or Villa Exclusive Services for dinner and a morning basket for breakfast in your room.

Please allow your dog to eat only in the Dog Villa Suite.

CAN I TAKE A STROLL AROUND THE HOTEL AREA?

The Asama Sunline facing the hotel is a bypass for National Route 18, so it is very busy, and even the nearest restaurant is a 15-minute walk away. (We recommend that you take a stroll inside the hotel (a light 20-minute walk).

IS PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO RECORDING ALLOWED INSIDE THE FACILITY?

Of course it is possible. Please take many memorable photos and videos, including those of the food.
However, please refrain from or filming in a way that may cause inconvenience to other guests or using a drone.

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT THE SURROUNDING TOURIST ATTRACTIONS.

IS THERE A GOLF COURSE NEARBY?

The hotel can introduce and make arrangements with Pacific Club Karuizawa Resort and Eau sol vert karuizawa club. For details, please contact us.

CAN I HAVE A WEDDING?

No weddings or wedding party are being held at this time. (Please inquire if you wish to reserve the entire building.)
We offer a "Photo Wedding Plan" for location photos and pre-shoots for the two of you.

CAN A PHOTOGRAPHER ACCOMPANY?

Photography plans are available with professional photographers certified by the hotel. Please contact us for details.
For security reasons, we do not allow anyone other than guests and affiliated staff to enter the hotel.

CAN I RECEIVE HIRAMATSU MEMBER BENEFITS?

Benefits for Hiramatsu members are applicable only for guests who make reservations via phone or the official website.

Please note that certain plans, such as early bird discounts, may not be eligible for shareholder benefits or
Memoire de Hiramatsu member privileges. If you make a reservation through third-party sites or travel agencies,
please be aware that points may not be awarded,
and points cannot be used for payment of expenses such as dining.
