Relax and unwind in your own hot spring bath, at any time of day. Breathe the clean highland air, and enjoy the way time slows down in the forest
Every guest room has its own semi-open air hot spring bath. The water is delivered daily from the Oshio Onsen hot spring, which is associated with the Sengoku period daimyo Takeda Shingen. Tradition has it that samurai wounded in battle during that era came there to convalesce. The water’s soft feel makes it particularly agreeable for bathing — in fact, you may feel you never want to get out!
Indications: arthrosis, lumbago, neuralgia, frozen shoulder, bruising, sensitivity to cold, gastrointestinal function recovery, convalescence, fatigue, health promotion, insomnia, etc
Time to unwind
The stylish bathrooms in the main building have stone walls, and on some floors offer a fine view of the changing seasons while you bathe. The layout is highly practical, with easy access to the bath from the shower, and all bathrooms open directly onto the terrace. Why not put on one of the fluffy bathrobes provided in your room and spend a luxurious time alternating between the bath and the sofa on the terrace?
Feel closer to nature
Villa bathrooms look out directly onto the forest, giving a sense of closeness to nature, while wooden walls and ceiling create a comfortable highland resort ambiance. Listen to the sound of birds and the wind in the trees, and enjoy the sights of the changing seasons as you unwind in the hot water. There is also a shower booth, situated immediately behind the bathtub. After a relaxing soak, why not put on a bathrobe and go straight out onto the terrace for a refreshing drink of beer or champagne?
