Notice Regarding the Introduction of Nagano Accommodation Tax

Please be advised that the Nagano Prefectural Government will introduce an accommodation tax applicable to stays from Monday, 1 June 2026.

EFFECTIVE DATE
Applicable for stays from Monday, 1 June 2026

TAX RATE
JPY 200 per person per night

PLEASE NOTE:

• The tax applies to stays where the accommodation charge is JPY 6,000 or more per person per night, excluding tax.
• Accommodation tax is already included in the accommodation rates.
• The accommodation tax applies to all stays from 1 June 2026 onwards, regardless of the reservation date.
