Rooms, suites and villas with their own hot-spring baths
The Hiramatsu Karuizawa Miyota is a generously designed hotel with just 37 guest accommodation units set in grounds of over 60,000m2. There are 28 rooms and suites in the five-storey main building and nine detached villas. All are spacious, with the smallest measuring over 100m2 and the largest nearly 235m2 including the terrace, and each has its own semi-open air hot spring bath and a south-facing terrace. All vary in layout and offer different views, catering to a range of travel styles.
The Hiramatsu Suite, named after our brand, has the hotel’s best view
The suite occupies half of the hotel’s top floor and will sleep up to four guests. The two bedrooms are separated by the living/dining room, the perfect place to relax during your stay. With a shower room as well as a hot spring bath, this suite offers a great sense of privacy and is ideal for families and groups.
Miyota Suites are the only suites with windows facing both north and south, and offer fine views
Miyota Suites are the hotel’s only accommodation with both north- and south-facing windows. To the north, they frame a fine view of the forest of the Mt Asama foothills, and in early winter, you may be lucky enough to see the trees covered in rime ice. If you are staying more than one night, why not take advantage of the large dining table and try our in-room dining service?
Corner suites with big windows that give a sense of space
Junior Suites feature a living room with big windows that let in light from two directions and give a sense of space, and an L-shaped terrace accessible directly from the living room, bedroom or bathroom. The living area is luxuriously distant from the entrance, giving an added sense of privacy, and the closet is big enough to meet the needs of even long-stay guests.
All of the hotel’s standard rooms measure a generous 100m2 including the terrace
The décor features natural materials that harmonize with the landscape, set off by the modern art on the walls. Unwind on the sofa, facing the big window: allow the beauty of the forest to soothe you, and feel the way time just slows down. The south-facing terrace is like a second living room, inviting you to relax with a cup of freshly ground coffee, and maybe a book.
Feel close to nature with a Villa Suite in the forest
Consisting of a living room, mini kitchen, two bedrooms, terrace and private garden, with a semi-open air hot spring bath, the spacious Villa Suites are like a second home, perfect for groups of friends or families. Villa Suite guests can also enjoy a range of Villa Exclusive Services including Forest Dining — an opportunity to feel close to nature while savouring a delicious meal.
Villas with a spacious 90㎡ terrace
Terrace Villa Suites include a living room with a mini kitchen, two bedrooms, a large terrace, and a semi-open air hot spring bath. In good weather, the terrace can be used to take breakfast from a Morning Basket; it’s also the ideal place to enjoy a full-course dinner in autumn, or a barbecue in summer. The décor makes extensive use of wood, and if you open the bathroom window, it’s like taking a hot spring bath in the forest.
Villas for families with dogs
Ideal for guests with pets, the Dog Villa Suites are equipped with their own dog runs, dog beds and other amenities. For guests who would also like to take meals with their dogs, we recommend the Villa Exclusive Services and room service. Enjoy the companionship of travelling with your pets.
